Businesses qualifying as a Conditionally Exempted Small Quantity Generator (CESQG or SQG) of Washington State Dangerous Waste are eligible to dispose of the waste at Jefferson County’s Household Hazardous Waste / Moderate-Risk Waste Collection Facility, 282 10th St, Port Townsend, (Port of Port Townsend’s Boat Haven, Building No. 19). Fees apply.
A business qualifies as a SQG when generating less than:
- 220 pounds (approximately 25 gallons) of Dangerous Waste per month, and/or
- 2.2 pounds (about one quart) of Acutely Hazardous Waste per month, and
- Properly manages its waste.
- (Such businesses may accumulate up to 2,200 pounds of DW and/or 220 pounds of AHW and maintain CESQG status.)
